TO ST MICHAEL'S
We are a church who seek to know Jesus and make him known.
Whether you’re young or old, born here or overseas, have followed Jesus your whole life or never been to church before, everyone is welcome at St Michael’s. We want to see more and more disciples of Jesus shining as lights in the City of Wollongong.
LATEST BIBLE TALK
God's word, the Bible, is our ultimate authority and guide. Whenever we read it together in church and hear it preached, we invite everyone to open their Bibles to make sure what we're saying aligns with scripture. Every Sunday there are at least two different Bible talks (or sermons) at the morning and evening services.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Each of our five gatherings (or 'services') on Sunday have a distinct personality, while also sharing several things in common. Each church service runs for about 70 minutes and includes singing, a time of prayer, reading from the Bible, and a 20-25 minute Bible talk (or sermon) to hear it explained. We also spend some time after the service getting to know one another, and conversing over food and drink. You can wear whatever you feel most comfortable in, and stay for as little or long as you'd like.
